The range of "happenings" at the Art of South B is always wide, from computer art to traditional painting, to journaling to 3D. Still, there are trends that emerge. This week, we take a look at some of those works that were started right before Thanksgiving break.
first, we have prints created on both linoleum as well as easy cut blocks. The print of the tree rings is an etching, scratched into plastic.
Our fourth block class took an interest in watercolors. in order to learn, we took a look at other finished watercolor paintings and copied them. So some of these aren't original works of art. That's right, we broke international copyright laws. But we did it for the sake of education.
There are plenty of rouge things happening as well. These include making a 3D reindeer, painting a beach scene mural, using pastels, pen and ink, felting and more...
