We kicked AP Art into first gear this morning, starting with some observational drawing. each student brought in an object of their choosing. we set the clock and started a new sketch every 15 minutes.
We were exploring different angles as well as line variation, value and cross contour. Theses sketches will serve as thumbnails for a final work of art that will need to be completed by next week. Yep, we got to keep it moving. No time to dilly dally!
